It took COVID for parents to realize the teachers and school boards were overreaching their intended objective. That is why the pendulum has swung back to the right. The left had it and abused it.
You have a point, old friend, but most of the COVID policies were created with good intentions in a time of great uncertainty. Only in hindsight did they seem overreach. Now the parents' rights movement is doing really crazy stuff. Hope you are well.
