The complex issues of sensitivity, censorship, expression, art and history splashed down on the front page of the New York Times this week in a pair of articles. One piece examined the legal case brought by Quebec artist Sam Kerson, formerly of Vermont.
How do you feel about the censorship in the media of all opposing viewpoints to the mainstream western narrative regarding Ukraine? For instance, the evidence of the pre-existing civil war of the Kiev regime against the ethnic Russians in the Donbass region following the U.S. supported Maiden coup? NATO's encroachment right up to Russia's borders in direct violation of their agreement not to move "one inch east" of Germany? The often report influence of far-right/nazi forces in Ukraine, from the Azov battalion to other groups such as C14, Right Sektor, etc.? The on-going atrocities committed against ethnic Russians and Romani people?
All of that is documented by independent and non-western media, but not one word is allowed to appear in any "respectable" western media that contradicts the inane "unprovoked" narrative that claims that Putin just woke up one morning and decided to invade for no reason other than because he's an evil madman?
Regardless of what you think of the situation going on in Ukraine or Russia's invasion, it really should concern you that western liberal media has been 100% in lockstep agreement, often in defiance of verifiable evidence. I absolutely agree with you that kids should be able to learn about sex, gender, race, etc. Do you agree with me that adults should be able to learn about different perspectives on a conflict that is very likely to lead to nuclear war?
