School teachers aren't battered; they are coddled. The teaching of CRT is not imaginary, it has been proven to be real. Teaching porn is not education, it is just that---PORN.

Sorry you feel that way, old friend. You must not know many teachers. Perhaps you're influenced by anti-union rhetoric. And yes, CRT is real and, in my opinion, a valuable way to look at racial history, but I know of no public school in America that teaches it. As to porn, I obviously don't support it in any context, but what does that have to do with my essay?

I hope you're well and have a happy holiday season.

Best of holidays to you and your family. There are 5 conservative teachers in my family from AZ to PA and all state that CRT elements are prevalent in their respective school districts. I know because I talk to my grandchildren ages6,7,8 and 5. I am not anti-union, i am anti-monopoly. You submit that teachers know better and should decide the curriculum including non -educational subjects. Stay well my friend.

As a retired school library professional with 50 years experience, my take on this is that parents should tell schools what to teach and which books should be in the library on the same day that they instruct their dentist on how to do a root canal!
